Title: 2004 1.8t AWM Post by: B61.8tune on May 10, 2014, 04:14:21 PM I'm very new to tuning and have been reading alot. I pulled up some hex scripts but couldn't get this reading to open in any sort of map. Maybe I didn't save it correctly. I am also looking for a lightly moded file to compare with my original.
Any help would be great. Title: Re: 2004 1.8t AWM Post by: B61.8tune on May 12, 2014, 07:37:33 PM Sorry, I just realized I posted the wrong file.

Personally, I use the other version of 518AK. I have attached it, as well as my last XDF prior to switching over to winOLS. It is enough for a stage1/2 file and then some, although it is not all correct. Use the bin attached in your car, as that is the version the xdf works with. Welcome, and good luck. Is everyone reading their tunes using a hex editor? I see WinOls has a map but I'm not sure how to read that either. Just wondering if I need to learn this or if there's another way. Thanks for the help. This is by far the most helpful website I have come across.
