Immo off, VIN removed.

Can you elaborate? Is this cluster dump?

This is the ecu immo dump it is too small to be for the cluster.

The 95040 reference tells me ECU EEPROM.

should this dump run at every Me7.5 ecu using 95040 eeprom, do i have to make
checksum or something, or do i just have to flash it to the eeprom?

can i flash it without problems, using a willelm programmer?

Thx in advance

Checksum seems to me OK in the file, verified using EEPROM 95040 Checksum calculator
Have anybody tried this eeprom dump? Immo is OFF that's clearly seen. How does the clear/empty VIN number work? Is it auto populated when connected with instrument cluster?

Has anybody been able to verify that this does indeed work? Thanks for sharing OP.

I've used this with a 4Z7907551S and a 4Z7907551AA -- reading these boxes using the Nefmoto tool sets the Programming Not Finished bit, and this '95040 immo off' was a lifesaver.

I am trying to use this tool, this file appears to force a galleto tool close whenever I try to write.  Has anyone else experienced this, is there a work around

You can't write the EEPROM with Galletto.

the file posted in this thread is not a "tool".
i think you need to maybe read more and you will answer your own question. obviously you arent really sure what youre doing.

I agree, I am new to flashing.  I didn't find anywhere else where this ECU EEPROM dump was discussed.

so you would rather press the flash button and cross your fingers rather than actually know anything about it?
