Title: golf GTI ME7.5 tuning question
Post by: dnenov7 on May 28, 2014, 04:00:58 PM
Just tuned the car and everything is going ok . But when you apply 60% of throttle @3000 rpm the boost is going up but the car does not accelerate. When you press harder it's going really nice. Does anyone have any clue about this ? I'll post the .bin file and  def later tonight.

Thank you

Sounds like an issue with load maps.  KFMIOP and KFMIRL must "compliment" each other, whatever the f that means. :)

For my frankenturboed 1.8t, I took these maps from a 225tt file (BAM) as a base and just modified the last column or two in KFMIRL to ensure I would request enough load.  This just the way I did it.  That doesn't mean it's the right way to do it.  ;)

Ah it's the torque limiter 2 . Does any one know how to disable it ?

Disabling the torque limiter is not the correct approach.

IOP must be tuned to complement IRL, as stated above...

there are a million posts on it, and a short section in the ME7 wikipage
