Post by: narf0815 on June 01, 2014, 09:15:10 AM
Hi all,
after reading flash with NM my car won't start: flash memory not complete...  >:(

I wrote flash with NM and 8e0909518al.bin from this thread:

Now car runs but got a yellow sign from ESP in front.

And i think the new file is stock  ???
My one was tuned, crappy - but tuned  ;)

You can always compare file you read from the ECU with the file you wrote into it...

Thank You. Will try tomorrow.
Is this a stock one too?

The old one was AL. Do you mean it was the wrong one all time? The car was using gasoline like a tank in full speed...

If i load my old one with winols i recieve an error, because file is modified... ???

Solution for the "programming not finished" error. OK.

Maybe some wise words for my other questions?

Search for NOREAD in your file with a hex editor. Fill that area with FF's.

Then import the file over the original (import original into winOLS first, then tuned file over top).

Great. Thanks a lot.
Maybe you can look in my first posted file to give some feedback about the quality of tuning?

Update:
With your 518AK file i had again the "programming not finished" error. I had to Flash it 3 times until my ECU said "finished".

update2:
Should i open a New thread for analyze of my tuned.bin?
