Title: Security access for vcds and MED9? Post by: vwaudiguy on June 13, 2014, 09:27:38 AM 08' BPY Jetta. I'm trying to raise the idle a few hundred rpm to get rid of some vibration because of stiffer engine mounts. Looking with VCDS it asks for a security access code to even look at the adaptation values. So my question is..Does anyone have this security access code, and are they the same for all the MED9 ecu's, and do you know what channel idle adaptation is? I'm attaching the mpps read from this just in case it's in there somewhere. I'm not confident enough at this point to modify the binary to do this, and not sure that mpps clone 13 with calc the sums..

Title: Re: Security access for vcds and MED9? Post by: vwaudiguy on June 23, 2014, 11:23:37 AM I believe we tried that (using the hover over the field method), but I will try everything once again. Thanks again for all the replies. :)
