Title: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on June 27, 2014, 07:06:55 AM Hey wondering if anyone could point me towards any existing definition files and/or tune files for a AMB 2004 A4 1.8t Auto TIP?
I can't seem to find anything on here pertaining to this exact setup/year. Ultimately want emissions delete...problems with cat I believe. Thanks for any insight... I can't seem to find anything on here pertaining to this exact setup/year. Ultimately want emissions delete...problems with cat I believe. Thanks for any insight... need to know which ecu code you have 1st! Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on June 27, 2014, 10:47:29 AM I believe it should be the 8E0909518AK...will check for sure tonight.
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on June 27, 2014, 11:32:36 AM I found a few threads on a file for this ECU...will the same process as tuning a 2.7T work for the 1.8T?
I've flashed an A6 2.7 a few times but not this A4... And my A6 didn't have an immo to worry about. Does flashing files mess with that? One more thing, will a lot of the tuning info in the S4 Wiki apply to this engine as well...such as deleting rear O2s? Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: panos1975 on June 27, 2014, 12:11:10 PM ME 7.1 and ME 7.5 are cousins or better brothers.if you have modify ME7.1 ecu's i think you don't have any problem to tune a ME7.5 ecu.as for the immo you don't have to worry about because immo data are stored in different place in the ecu(eeprom 95040)
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on June 27, 2014, 12:42:45 PM Ok thanks for the info about the immo.
Otherwise the flashing process should be the same? Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: panos1975 on June 27, 2014, 02:10:10 PM yes same routines either from obd on the car either on the bench via k-line either boot mode.....
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: turboat on June 27, 2014, 03:06:19 PM You won't be able to bench flash without turning the immo off. Can flash in the car, assuming the keys/cluster are paired.
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on June 27, 2014, 04:43:40 PM Okay.
Wasn't sure what year/generation the NefMoto ME7 ECU Flasher worked up to. and also...what memory layout do I use for this ECU? Thanks again. Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: panos1975 on June 27, 2014, 11:38:46 PM you can flash ME7.5 on the bench (with immo on) with MPPS....i haven't try with other flashing tools.....
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on June 30, 2014, 06:04:41 AM So does anyone know what memory layout to use in ME7 ECU Flasher to flash this ECU?
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: panos1975 on June 30, 2014, 06:20:16 AM 29F800.....
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on July 03, 2014, 07:55:10 PM 29F800..... Thanks...but there is a 29F800, 29F800BB, & 29F800BT...what's the difference? Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: shane0569 on July 05, 2014, 11:00:43 AM ?
Title: Re: Point me in the right direction Post by: ddillenger on July 05, 2014, 11:31:08 AM Thanks...but there is a 29F800, 29F800BB, & 29F800BT...what's the difference? It refers to the boot code sector architecture. T=Top, B=Bottom. Most Benzin VAG use the 29Fx00BB memory layout. Forgive me, but I'm unfamiliar. So the 04 A4 1.8T would use 29F800? |
