Title: How to choose memory layout? Post by: OverCaffeinated on June 27, 2014, 09:20:45 AM I'm trying to determine which memory layout to choose.
The ECU is 06A906032RF for a 2005 2.0 BEV. I'd like to know how one figures out the memory layout so that when I look at other ECUs I don't have to ask. Also, my goal is to swap my ECU with a tuned ECU and to defeat the immobilizer. So any tips to get me started would be helpful. Thanks! Title: Re: How to choose memory layout? The program would say something about not matching the ECU and asking if I want to proceed anyway. I would just cancel the request. Title: Re: How to choose memory layout? Post by: OverCaffeinated on July 17, 2014, 10:29:16 PM I finally had a chance to crack open the ecu and it is indeed an 800BB.
But unfortunately the NefMoto Software could not do a full read of the memory. I could get the ecu info. I did notice it would switch from KWP2000 to KWP1281 I think?
