Title: Adjusting KFWDKSMX - Maximum desired throttle plate angle Pro/Cons
Post by: phila_dot on May 23, 2011, 12:33:18 AM
Are there any potentially ill effects of adjusting KFWDKSMX that I am overlooking? Is there a need to limit 100% throttle plate angle to over 4k? What effect will this have on other calibrations? Has anyone experimented with this?

Everybody I know that has tweaked the map to open throttle to 100% below 4k rpms did not see any gains.

Take with a grain of salt though.

it iis done like this as standard to help stop the boost ramping up too quickly for refinement.
