Title: MBC + N75 connection scheme? Post by: masterj on August 09, 2014, 10:06:22 AM Hi, bros,
Today I've tried to connect my mbc in such a way that it would act as a overboost helper, but it seems it doesn't work as expected. Could someone help me with this? (http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/misc_data/mbc_parallel.jpg) Looks simple right? I've bought two T connectors and connected everything except for mbc now. In picture it is shown as a two ports controller, but my mbc came also with one way T connector ??? Need help on how to connect this. And thanks guys (http://www.mercedeswheels.com/uploads/carparts/big_universal-manual-turbo-boost-controller-kit-purple_76a70a8c84052f6e875fa310ee42451d.jpg) Title: Re: MBC + N75 connection scheme? 2) I don't understand what the supplied one way T is for. Title: Re: MBC + N75 connection scheme? Post by: _nameless on August 09, 2014, 10:40:00 AM i have used that type from ebay before and it doesn't work how it should... believe it or not the ones made from brass plumbing fittings work much better!

Have you tried connecting mbc in parallel to n75 as in diagram? Title: Re: MBC + N75 connection scheme? Post by: nyet on August 09, 2014, 11:03:42 AM Yes, but not with an ebay MBC

Post by: nyet on August 11, 2014, 11:04:24 AM Just tune your PID correctly, and you wont need an MBC :P
it's a huge hack anyway. Title: Re: MBC + N75 connection scheme? Post by: masterj on August 11, 2014, 11:41:32 AM Just tune your PID correctly, and you wont need an MBC :P it's a huge hack anyway. I know :) Im trying to do this as a safeguard while adjusting KFLDR :)) even small K03 at hardcoded 80% wastegate can reach > 1.5BAR of boost and ecu starts to cut throttle like crazy and I can not properly log anything to properly adjust KFLDR Title: Re: MBC + N75 connection scheme? Post by: nyet on August 11, 2014, 11:53:54 AM Forget it. Just having an MBC in your plumbing alters the behavior of the system. If you remove it you'll have to retune all over again.
Just tune properly. Start low and work your way up. I'm telling you, ditch the MBC, it is a waste of time. |
