Title: immo 2 eeprom in a immo3 cluster. Post by: bigchalk on August 13, 2014, 11:54:27 AM month or so back i finally had my 02 jetta running. i found a used cluster with matched key. i installed the new cluster which is an immo 2 pulled the eeprom and skc. i then re installed the the original immo 3 cluster. then i wrote the immo 2 file to it and was able to program my keys and the motor ran like a champ. i was working on the third key and everything went crazy. just like the gauges and what not do when you put the wrong eeprom in. i found out that the batterty charger had been unplugged and my battery dropped below 12 volts. since then this method has not worked again. im not sure if there was something i did the first time im missing this time or if there is else im messing up.
Any ideas? |
