vdspro will do it from a bootable dos disc and db9 cable or theres a windows based app that will do it using a kkl cable. heres the windows based app, it only works on certain modules, basically only mk4s. http://uk-mkvs.net/topic/83463-guide-remote-windows-activation/ vdspro will work with any flavor, mk4 or b5. there should also be a massive thread on tdiclub regarding vds pro and loads of information. its from 2006ish maybe or so i think was when it was started.
