ME 7.5(?) 06A906032AC Thought id try to read this ecu, and ive validated the 29f800BB memory layout = ok. started the flash read, and everything seems to work fine up till ~57%, flash checksums = ok. but, from 58% and onwards, it keeps saying flash checksums do not match, retrying.. 3 attempts, and then skipping and continue to read. what happens here? does this affect the bin-file produced.. or does it still match the contents of my ecu-flash? the whole procedure took ~47 minutes.. ill attach the produced bin-file, if someone with more knowledge would be so kind to have a look at it.. :-\ Title: Re: 06A906032AC, reading flash, cheksum errors? Thanks for posting this file. I was looking for it. You chose to use the 1mb flashconfig but the flashrom itselfe is a 512kb one ! :) Therefore the act-up i presume. as youve noticed it is a 512kb file, i figured this out months back, but i never got around to correct the file and upload it here, so thanks pvl for doing that =) i have better cables, tools etc for reading ecus nowadays, i remember reading this file took like FOREVER.. ;D Title: Re: 06A906032AC, reading flash, cheksum errors? 5.9s in early 1.8ts and then 7.5 in the later 99 and 00 ones. |
