Title: help, to locate the CWDLDUV and TMDLDUV for N249 removal
Post by: mx450 on November 16, 2014, 04:57:31 AM
Here is the original file of my friend's A3 8L.
He would like to remove the N249 totally as it failed to work frequently.

And i assume that the CWDLDUV is at 0x19979. but i can't find the TMDLDUV.

Any help would be grateful.

Thanks.

Terrible reason to remove the N249. He should get it working properly.

I know it is good to keep n249 alive in the system. But it is weird that most 1.8T here( I am from Taiwan) failed to work frequently.

Maybe it is too hot to make the solenoid failed to work right. This is why some of us removed it totally as you might need to have it replaced twice a year.

Please someone can help me to locate the CWDLDUV and TMDLDUV.
Thanks.

I live in one of the hottest areas of the US and i've seen way more N75 failures due to heat than N249..

Why do you feel the need to delete it two different ways?

Two different ways? I dont get you.

Currently my friend has resistor on the car. but somehow that resister doesnt help.
I gave him my brand new N249 and he still get the DTC.
We assume there must be something wrong in wire.
So we decide to just turn it off totally.
