I have an RB4 cluster from my A4 B6 2002 How can i tell if my cluster is the CRYPTO version or no? After reading and trying a lot I was able to make two dumps with VAG eeprom programmer 1.19g but they differ in one byte Is there a way to check if the dump is correct? Thanks ! Writing to another cluster? You can't do that. Make sure to make an encrypted backup before you destroy the cluster. Title: Re: RB4 CRYPTO or NO? Post by: jazzageuk on April 02, 2015, 12:59:05 AM Hi. I also have the same cluster (from a 2004 audi avant 1.9tdi) and am considering reading cluster EEPROM with VAGeeprogrammer V1.9g. I've been tol this can be risky- an risk bricking the vehicle. Any advice on how to do the read with least risk of disaster?
