Title: M3.8.3 -> ME7.5 conversion

Throttlebody doesn´t work(tested in another car - ok), car running fine idle but TB is dead...    SOLVED
 
Any ideas?

Faultcodes:
18058 CAN signal
17987 TB configuration
17931 Impact signal (Airbag)
18034 CAN signal
18057 CAN signal (ABS)
18320 Brakebooster signal
17072 Realy (Working)
17881 EVAP

Car is 1998 A4 B5, engine AJL. Without CAN-line.
Can someone "code" these faultcodes off?

Most likely your wiring needs to be checked. Start by measuring voltage on pin 2+ground and 2+6 of tb connector (both need 5v) and add power relay to loom. You do have put in a dbw throttle and accelerator pedal I hope? You can not control the dbc throttle with your dbw me7 ecu.
As for the faultcodes that are not important: find cw_can_s and r for can message, eskonf bits for evap. Airbag was a b*tch on my ecu, I ended up ff-ing the voltage test value to finally eliminating it.

All wires have been measured and checked. Relay also are functional.
I dont realize how ecu diagnose that is broken...

Gray relay 1J0906381 / J271

I check your car/engine combo in elsawin and it turns up as drive by cable. What ecu are you using? Have you connected vagcom and looked in channel 60-62 for pedal/angle signals and adaption?

J271 Pin 85 and 87 resistor is bad. Should be 11Kohm (color stripes).
Report when i get new one.

99% sure you have a wiring issue. Dealt with this exact same issue on a car I did the same conversion on a while back. I don't have access to the car anymore, but I'll try and look for my notes.

Done same conversion, 1999 AGU loom into a 2003 car (TT BAM) and got the missing message from ABS controller.  I think its down to the different ABS pumps and software coding that the engine ECU needs to see.   All the CAN wires go through a central location in the dash cluster (on a mk4 golf/bora) so should be able to pick up messages between controllers easily enough.



Throttle body issue sounds like a dead fuse or a issue hardware side as throttle body wiring all traces straight back to the ECU.

Check 121 ECU pin, it must be connected to 12v+  If not - do it. That`s why throttlebody doesn´t work

Thats funny, about one hour ago i checked that wire and realize same thing.
There was only few second +12v (fuelpump)....

There will be more questions when i get to road with it...

Yeah thats right, and it feeds from the engine relay you had the code for.  I had intermittent throttlebody malfunctioning because of internal resistance in that relay. Glad you got it sorted, good luck!

Yes, the MAPsensor is calibrated to see only atmospheric and pressure. Pressure/vacuum behind the throttle is calculated from MAF and MAP in ME7. It is originally fitted in the intercooler but there are also adapters available that house the sensor in aftermarket pipework. I made one myself, its not very hard if you got the tools.

don`t do it  ;D leave it alone. If you want truly maffles with MAP in intake manifold you can mount second MAP sensor into intake manifold and use his voltage as MAF input. But it requires some code modifications and maps calibrations.

Hmm... This Maff-Less system is interesting. Is it difficult to make?
I have already couple of these boost sensors and maf is small and location is bad....

VVT is now running with N/A camshafts.
Idle is smoother than before.

How to remove/disable these fault codes?

17526 Lambda 2 (Only WBo2 using)
17522 Lambda 2
18320 Brake booster sensor (?)
17881 EVAP (coal canister solenoid is functional)
17837 Brake vacuum pump (?)
