Title: reading my me7.5 4b0906018cm issues

im attempting to read at 10400 baud in slow init, here is my log

I saw that but wasnt exactly sure what it meant, what do i do to correct it? flash the stock file? do i have to do it in boot mode?

Attached is the picture of my ecu. i have a 2002 passat, fwd, awm, automatic transmission.

I want to be able to have a stock file that i can properly read before i start tinkering.

You should be able to flash over it with a stock file IF the ecu isn't physically modified.

You'll want to open it up to make sure.

I took this picture earlier but have since then put the ecu back in the car.  I started to scratch off that sticker.(thought my memory layout would be under there)

You can read that in boot mode. Make a full backup of your ecu (flash chip, and e2p). 800bb would be your layout. Then flash a stock file on it, and go to town.

Im not interested in reading the file currently on the ecu anymore, would just like to get it back to stock so i have baseline.  Can i flash the file i mentioned without going into boot mode? (flashing over obd in nefmoto)?

Maybe. Depends on the flash. Generally yes. If you have trouble, you can always bootmode it.

Ok i will try flashing that file tomoroww, also do you have an xdf that will work with that file?

And how do i absolutely make sure that is the correct file for my ecu before i flash?
