Winols is software used for analyzing/modifying files.
Damos is a type of file used with winols to define said files
Mappack is a group of maps used to define a file.
Internal flashing could be bdm which is reading directly off the circuit board
Boot mode is reading/writing a file to/from an ecu by putting the flash chip in boot mode to bypass the protocols used to flash/read over the OBD port.
Boot tricore I believe refers to the tricore processor used in the most recent types of ecu's.

Hope this helps!

thanks.
checksums are encryptions that protect ecu?
how do they bypass it easily, even for the latest ecu's?
is there a software to calculate those checksums?

thanks.
checksums are encryptions that protect ecu?
They are there to detect corruption or errors

Bypassing is a bad idea, they are there for good reason.

built into winols, see my sig for free software for ME7.x

You can calculate digits of pi manually too.

This was the answer I was looking for.

The popularity of that Turing movie notwithstanding, ignorance on this topic still runs rampant.
