Title: Hello everyone Post by: problemchilds4 on April 13, 2015, 05:57:08 PM Hey everyone, im a new 01 s4 owner, I havent had a "toy" car in sometime, i was a dsm guy, got out of cars and into bikes and came across the s4 about 2 months ago. so far it hasnt been very much fun. Ive been fixing someone elses headache. Ive got most of the car sorted out except 1 code that Im getting. A friend suggested this site to me and im assuming that he suggested it to be able to log what the car is doing. I have a P1287 code that I cant track down. Ive already replaced the N249 valve and cleaned the plug/contacts, checked all of the wiring, cleaned and oiled the dv, im out of ideas. Ive never done any sort of logging and hope to get some experience with that here.
