Title: Hi from Minnesota Post by: KKoskey on April 28, 2015, 08:13:28 PM Hi, I own a 2000 MT S4. My goals are to learn how this tuning stuff works. I have a decent background in programming, some very basic low-level assembly but mostly C/C++/Java.
I currently have a tuned A-Box ECU that I want to load an M-Box file to and hopefully be able to keep my current tuning. From what I've gathered, to do a basic changeover I either need to swap my MAF to a Hitachi or recode the ECU with the Bosch MAF values, specifically MLHFM; KFKHFM; and MLOFS, correct? I think I have done this but I just wanted to confirm that I can simply copy and paste the values from one table to another. For reading the values in my A-box bin I am using an A-box xdf I found in another thread and for the m-box bin I am using the xdf from the S4 Tuning wiki. Am I on the right track or am I completely missing something? BTW, I have searched the forums and it seems that the most relevant discussion regarding this can be found here: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php/topic,1040.0title,.html (http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php/topic,1040.0title,.html) but it does not seem to exist anymore. If you go to the community stage1 thread, I posted a bosch MAF file from which to start :)
