Title: Drive by cable adaptation
Post by: ricekikr on June 07, 2015, 01:51:28 AM
What does the ecu look for when doing a dbc throttle adaptation? Min/max volt/position curve etc etc?

It drives and idles fine. Just want to get the basic setting fault off without turning the dtc code or adaptation off.

I can not remember the voltages specs but have you tried to do a basic settings with VAG com ?  M.V.B 060 or 098 with the key on and engine not  running

Yup. Adapt always failed even when it was brandnew. This is an aha tb on an aeb.

yeah... that T-body voltage specs are different and it won't work well with the AEB. The one you need is a early VR6 T-body. I believe the engine code is AAA from a MK3 VW.
