Title: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: Gulfstream on June 29, 2015, 09:55:43 PM Hi peolpe!
i write the ecu file without checksum file in mmps. after the reprogramation, i make a test and the engine starts. but in the second start, the engine dont works! when i try to read the ecu in mpps appears "ecu not found" the car is a passat v6 2004 BBG. what i can be make now to solve this problem? thanks! Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: nyet on June 29, 2015, 09:56:36 PM How about checksumming the file before writing it?
Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: ddillenger on June 29, 2015, 10:22:53 PM Unplug the ecu for 5 minutes.
Plug it back in. Do not attempt to start the car, or turn the key off. Flash a file with good checksums. Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: Beaviz on June 29, 2015, 11:54:26 PM Wouldn't MPPS correct checksums? According to AMT Cartech it should: "It offers like most other tools reading / writing operations and checksum support..."

Flash a file with good checksums. I will try to make it! I correct the checksum with the me7sum.exe and check with me7check.exe and found no erros! According to AMT Cartech it should: "It offers like most other tools reading / writing operations and checksum support..." In MPPS have the bottom for id ecu, read, write and checksum... i dont know whats the file i have to select when i click in checksum! Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: Gulfstream on June 30, 2015, 12:48:47 AM How has that worked out so far? Is it genuine mpps? Not genuine! Its a cracked version. I read the original file and save on my HD I edit on file the KRKTE because i install new injectors and save the new file without correct the checksum. In MPPS, i click in WRITE and select this new file, when the work its complete, the problem inform to switchoff the key. after it, i disconect the MPPS (EOBD2) and switchON and start the engine fine! switchoff.... when i try to start again the engine not work, the fuel pump not work... all not work! and now... when i try to write i new file with the corrected checksum the MPPS dont found the ECU! But i will try to make it, that the ddillenger say! Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: spacey3 on June 30, 2015, 01:20:16 AM I think MPPS compares the file/checksums to another.
So... Click Checksum -> Select file you want to checksum -> Select/open ori file -> Save checksummed file -> Write checksummed file Then you can write. Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: jiggle on June 30, 2015, 01:33:40 AM mpps has been perfect at checksumming for me
I bricked my ecu after a couple goes with mpps. it can fix them pretty easily, dont worry Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: tjwasiak on June 30, 2015, 06:41:40 AM I would check if it is not related to RSA checksum issue described already on Nefmoto forums...
Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: Gulfstream on June 30, 2015, 10:14:44 AM Unplug the ecu for 5 minutes. Plug it back in. Do not attempt to start the car, or turn the key off. Flash a file with good checksums. I make it unplug ecu for 5 minuts and plug back, i dont start the engine, the key is off. but the problem still "ECU not found" :( Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: Gulfstream on June 30, 2015, 11:02:02 AM The problema was solved!
I try again and make equal that the ddillenger say and MPPS writh the new file with the corrected checksum! Thanks for helping!! ALL! Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: overspeed on June 30, 2015, 11:02:53 AM just boot it and will be fine
Title: Re: Reprograming ECU without checksum Post by: Gulfstream on July 01, 2015, 09:52:24 AM KRKTE is a 8 bits?
I install 320cc (FBY2850 18 holes) in V6 30v, how i can decrease in KRKTE? I read a post here in Nefmoto, Tony say that not good decrease too much in KRKTE, how is this too much? :) |
