Title: bin size error? Post by: chrispduck on July 14, 2015, 07:09:44 AM Part # 0261 206 436
06A 906 032 AR 0007 18.04.00 26SA6416 Boo 08418 1159 0443 Hi, Have an ARZ code 20v 1.8T in my MK2 Golf. I have got the loom done and immo off by a third party, starts and runs fine IF MAF is unplugged, I'd like to get some logs done to see what is happening. So as a complete noob I have got this far: Got cable nefmoto installed on laptop Can talk to ecu all ok, I can see 4 entries on the main screen of nefmoto, top one already selected Am I even using the correct one? Pretty sure its a 512kb bin but won't let me use 29F400BB (Early 1.8T) layout and opted for 29F800BB one as per guide. When run ME7Check on it I get 35 errors? Used newer version of ME7Check and get no errors but msg stating that am using 1meg file. My question is if I continue, will I encounter probs with flashing back to ecu with this bin? The guide describes chopping the file down to 512kb but I'm not quite sure how to do this? Any help appreciated Title: Re: bin size error? Post by: aef on July 15, 2015, 12:37:23 AM Its a small one. You can use 400 layout if you just ignote the error.
There are other topics decribing this. http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=3637.0title= http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=4247.0title= Title: Re: bin size error?
