Title: tvub question
Post by: s5fourdoor on August 04, 2011, 11:09:20 PM
scenario:  user upgrades from stock injectors to bigger injectors

tvub goes up?  tvub goes down?

i slightly lowered my krkte and now the car stumbles at idle a bit.  lowering krkte is the same as leaning the charge, so does that mean TVUB needs to compensate for this?

its becoming quite clear to me why you absolutely must have a wideband, since widebands can accurately read AFR's especially at idle...

In general, larger injectors require larger/longer latency values... so larger #'s in TVUB.

all injectors are different.  you need to consult the datasheet for the injector.  note that the deka 60lb are actually faster than stock s4 injectors.

this site has latency values for many injectors --

Hey - There's only one "Bosch" injector listed there, a 1545 cc/min one.  That can't be the one I have.  I need to find a good datasource for this because the one on boschdealers is totally wrong...
