Title: Soft Limiter/Launch Control for 551R
Post by: giles92 on July 24, 2015, 04:26:49 PM
Ive been following the s4wiki to write in a stationary lower rpm limit. I modified each scalar listed on the s4wiki and flashed it but the 4500 limiter is not functioning. CWDNMAX was already set to one so it didnt need changing. Mentioned as:
"Some ECU's need:
CWNMAXMD (CWDNMAX?) (8-bit) - Codeword Drehzahlbegrenzung (Codeword for RPM limiter). Change from 0 to 1"

CWNMAXMD was not in my definition but CWDNMAX was a scalar and was already set to 1 in my 551R bin.

As i look at TNMXH in tunerpro i can see that it has a 0.100000 * X conversion factor. located at 0x27F3E. The s4wiki says to max this scalar to 655.30 which is supposed to be the highest possible figure. My xdf allows for 6553.50 as the highest possible figure. Should the conversion factor be corrected so that 655.30 shows as the maximum? Could this change stop the limiter from functioning? Are there other scalars necessary to accomplish this on Me7.1.1?
