Found original eci bin file in "original ECU Files", need xdf preferably in English to go with. Also need a memory layout file for this ecu if anyone has it. There's a fully defined CB and H file on here, if you look. People tend to run the same files, so there's well defined XDF's and .kp's for the "big" files.

Thanks for the response. Hope my lack of understanding of the things you know so well is not too annoying. I think once I get the basics down I will be OK but its frustrating being an ignorant newbie. Regarding "8N0906018BB; This is not a part number..." My ride is a 2003 Mk1TT 225. ENGINE CODE: BEA WITH EGT SENSOR I found that number scanning the ECU, info below, using NefMoto, then did a search in ECU files and found this post with .bin file: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=4370.0 Also see that number printed prominently on photos of ecu labels on Ebay as "8N0 906 028 **" where ** is one or two letters. When I search ECU Definition Files, there is no exact match but if I search and leave off the last two letters, there are bunches of them. My buddies at Griffin Motorwerke (where we built the car up to Stage 3+), tell me Audi only used EGT on my year/model, so I'm thinking the files with letter other than BB suffix may not support EGT. my 210/225 s3/TT version binary with egt CATR coded 1 but 18bb CATR 3 ??? I do not know what 3 ?? many egt version kflbts full 1 but your kflbts correct calibrated same as no egt version 180 car |
