I was wondering one thing about ME383. There has been several ECUs for same engine code. 06A906018D - A3 AGU 1997 - 2000 06A906018AQ - A3 1997 - 2000 06A906018CG - Golf IV 1997 - 2000 Al share same hardware setup in car and was wondering if these can be crosflashed? Say 06A906018D stage 1 file to 06A906018AQ stock ECU or vice versa 018CG to 018AQ? Could be possible that you flash 018CG info in 018AQ but I can not confirm it. I have used 018CG flash+eeprom info in an 018R with great sucess. Best bet is to look ECUs hardware. I left some inside ECU pics. It can help you.
