Title: VW mk4 auto to manual swap Post by: veedabowlu on October 07, 2015, 09:30:13 AM I just finished converting a 2003 VW jetta 1.8t from a failed tiptronic to a manual 5 speed. Can someone help me convert this automatic ECU file to become a manual transmission ECU file. I do know on the earlier cars it was as easy as recoding the ECU to manual gearbox. But this ECU will not accept manual gearbox coding... please help.
