Title: Continental HMC Theta II ETC/BIN function manual Post by: mister t on November 05, 2015, 05:59:30 PM Not sure if it's commonly available, but I just noticed that I have this function manual for a Continental Theta engine management system.
Hope it's of some assistance :) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx1B6dk_9at2QmcxYlFaZG9hVnc/view?usp=sharing ***NOTE TITLE CHANGED TO REFLECT THAT IT IS NOT FOR THE B8 S4*** Title: Re: B8 S4 2008 Continental HMC Theta II ETC/BIN function manual Post by: IamwhoIam on November 06, 2015, 07:59:09 AM I strongly doubt it's for the B8 S4

I have the C7/D4 Simos8.5 FDEF if you don't Mihnea. Title: Re: B8 S4 2008 Continental HMC Theta II ETC/BIN function manual Post by: mister t on November 06, 2015, 12:22:44 PM Good to know. I just assumed that it was applicable to the S4 based on the date.
For my own reference, what models/makes does this manual cover then? Title: Re: Continental HMC Theta II ETC/BIN function manual Post by: Rick on November 06, 2015, 01:49:33 PM I'd say Hyundai Theta
Title: Re: Continental HMC Theta II ETC/BIN function manual Post by: mister t on November 06, 2015, 02:26:47 PM I'd say Hyundai Theta Makes sense, I figured that the "Theta" may have been a reference to Continental's own internal nomenclature for the ECU. I was under the presumption that the Simos ECU that the B8 S4 uses was a Continental/Simos 8.x unit. Any idea what this manual is supposed to be covering? It doesn't really say on the cover. Edit, looks like it's for EMSII Title: Re: Continental HMC Theta II ETC/BIN function manual Post by: prj on November 06, 2015, 04:38:44 PM It is close to MS4x from BMW.
