Title: immo off M5.9.2 1.8T 8D0907557P 24c02 reading problem Post by: vwnut8392 on November 05, 2015, 09:17:08 PM i've been trying to read the 24c02 in an early M5.9.2 1.8T ECU, i attempted to do a readout using an SOIC clip with the chip on the board and my eprom reader would hang when i was trying to read it. i than unsoldered the chip off the board and tried reading it with the clip and i got it to read but the readout just doesnt seem right. all i want to do is shut the immo off on the chip. my eprom programmer is a willem GQ-4X by the way too. the information seems like its doubled over in the readout. i attached the BIN so anyone can have a look and give input. thanks.

again, 557p does not have immo. Title: Re: immo off M5.9.2 1.8T 8D0907557P 24c02 reading problem Post by: vwnut8392 on November 07, 2015, 02:10:30 PM well whatever i did fixed the problem. the car starts and runs perfectly fine again.
