Title: Kawasaki ZX10R - Anyone know bikes on here?
Post by: sweegie on November 06, 2015, 11:37:41 AM
Greetings peeps,

So I just got myself a 2006 ZX10R and am starting to dig into the ECU and how to tune this. Has anybody got any experience with these? It's a Mitsubishi based ECU, using the SH7052 processor. I've already got the binary loaded into IDA and have identified some of the major functions, but without a mechanism to flash to the bike or indeed to checksum the file, this could be futile.

Does anybody on here know these ECU's and willing to share any pointers?

Cheers,

Sweegie

Checksum and flashing can be covered by some devices out there like piasini genuine or non genuine...Infact piasini was involved in the start of his "tool development" on those forums including the link that ddilllinger pointed out. The problem is that at some point he stopped selling master devices and support them....At that point we stopped using it also and lost around 5.000 eur.... Now-days there are plenty of clones out there which i do not know if the work good or bad but you can search about it. So to flash it you will not need more then 100eur.

Another victory for proprietary code, I see.
