Title: Ecu fuse blown from tuned file!
Post by: judeisnotobscure on August 21, 2011, 08:42:10 PM
So I figured out how to blow an ecu fuse with a computer file.
I messed with ftomn on the no lift shift s4 file on my e85 tune.  I set it to like 25, this was a bad call... you will blow ecu fuses and not be able to drive.  If you want to disable it, just raise the setpoints on launch rpm and shift rpm instead.

Are the coilpacks on that same circuit?

doubt it... the CP's are tied into the FP relay... but have their own fuse if I remember correctly.

I'm going to assume the IGN FET's were drawing too much power
