I'm not sure if that statement is application-specific for this particular engine/setup, but I've never seen a case where I had 7-8 deg of timing pull, and only 1.5 taken from the table was enough to resolve it. I've tried boost leak test and have corrected everything else I could find. So I'm hunting a good k04 or F21. I'm at 172k miles is this to be expected around this mileage?
