Title: Flashing Audi A4 B7 Post by: ardian.sinani on August 23, 2011, 01:22:51 AM i can't flash the ecu on audi b7. It's can based car. i have galetto 1260 cable, it execute the ECU DATA but not READ ECU and show the error ERRORE ADDRREAD. I've ordered ross-tech cable cause it was compatible with nefmoto. Any clues if i'm the right way ?

The BDM can read/write to the serial eeprom as well - this way you can make a complete backup of the ECU, and restore the ECU to a known working state. The BDM can also recover from a failed flash. Title: Re: Flashing Audi A4 B7 Post by: ardian.sinani on August 25, 2011, 12:01:36 AM i saw on internet different types of bdm. What type you suggest me for audi b7 can ? i saw the version v1255 of bdm100? Is it ok? i readed on a thread that this bdm is functional up to 2006 ecu .
Title: Re: Flashing Audi A4 B7 Post by: Jason on August 25, 2011, 01:16:36 PM It works on my 2008 ECU. On the d-k forums, there is a thread about how to update to a later version of the AMD software, and update the "firmware" in the BDM.
