Title: EDC15P - differences in N75DC 1.2tdi ANY vs 1.2 tdi AYZ lupo 3l -- why?? Post by: hansdevogel89 on November 19, 2015, 04:06:38 PM Im currently looking into the differences in various 1.2 tdi maps, edc15p+, from lupo 3l and audi a2
I cant find a reason for different N75 duty cycles between AYZ and ANY (up to 5% at 3000rpm and 20mg iq) Both engines use exactly the same turbocharger and actuator rod (looked up partnumbers in ETKA) 019AE, 019AA, 019K, 019BC as were in the Lupo 3l have higher DC's maps (right picture) 019D, 019BL as were in the Audi a2 3l al have lower DC's (left picture) My question is: why?? Post by: vwaudiguy on November 19, 2015, 04:08:51 PM Is it possible to post the different binaries? I would look for other changes elsewhere in the mapping. Less aggressive mapping for tame Audi folk? ;D

injection duration maps are identical.... Title: Re: EDC15P - differences in N75DC 1.2tdi ANY vs 1.2 tdi AYZ lupo 3l -- why?? Post by: adam- on November 20, 2015, 03:32:56 AM What about the N75 part number? Slightly numb-er valve?

Slightly numb-er valve? part no is 1h0906627a, it is the same in all 1.2 tdis from 1999-2006, good suggestion though Title: Re: EDC15P - differences in N75DC 1.2tdi ANY vs 1.2 tdi AYZ lupo 3l -- why?? Post by: hansdevogel89 on November 20, 2015, 05:36:33 AM You realize the same man likely didn't develop both calibrations? I understand. But will this influence boost development in a noticable manner, or are the differences too small to notice I made a good file 82hp/196nm (tested) for BL, and now want to tune the AE Transfered al tuning related maps (torque, smoke, boost and duration maps) to the AE file, because stock AE was te same stock D/BL file, except for N75 DC. Would it be better to stick with AE duty cycles, or use the ones for the D/BL, if there is any noticable difference after all. It´s only in "low" load (IQ) and it will be regulated. Maybe exhaust and intercooler is a little bit different. Compare other EDC15P+ and you will see even from automatic to manual gearbox is difference sometimes...
