Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: Rick on December 04, 2015, 01:35:11 PM There are many ways of doing it. Diagnosis needs lots of conditions to be fulfilled, so changing any one will disable the diagnosis. Eg min or mac EGT to enable diag.

Just trying to make a point to the OP I guess. Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: ronisc on December 05, 2015, 01:20:06 AM Hi,
I really don't have any Idea how to doo. If somebody have time for a sample file, that will be great. BTW attached the O2 off File Testet and it works to 100% BR Roi Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: IamwhoIam on December 05, 2015, 04:55:45 AM I don't see any O2 sensor diagnostics being turned off in your file.
Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: ronisc on December 05, 2015, 05:15:19 AM Yes then sorry for you, but file is working to 100%

Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: ddillenger on December 05, 2015, 11:27:58 AM I don't see any O2 sensor diagnostics being turned off in your file. o2 sensors no, but you're being pedantic. You know that 90 percent of people that want "Lambda off" are asking for cat removal, and that's exactly what this file did. MAF threshold for catalyst diagnosis (minimum) ip_maf_min_cat was changed to higher than possible values. MAF threshold for catalyst diagnosis (maximum) ip_maf_max_cat was changed to lower than possible values. In effect, the conditions to diagnose the catalyst will never be met. 41E9C and 41E9D lc_ls_down_obd_2_man_deac should disable all OBD diagnosis of the rear sensors as well if needed. This is not how I'd have done this, but it works. Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: IamwhoIam on December 05, 2015, 01:36:28 PM I know too well that I'm being pedantic, however, people should learn to state WHAT they actually want, jeeeeez

Good to see some answers at least then. I must say the stupid var and map names annoy me in Simos. They are nearly retard proof. It's almost too simple once you forget about the clusterfuck that is bosch. Lol I'll keep that in mind, they just seem too long. I must have spent too much time in IDA with ME7 :) Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: ronisc on December 06, 2015, 03:31:52 AM Agree i hope it too :)

Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: dream3R on December 06, 2015, 10:08:03 PM Agree i hope it too :) Answering my question would have helped buddy ;) Title: Re: Audi S4 3.0 TSI 333PS Post by: matchew on December 06, 2015, 11:48:30 PM This isn't a read at all.
It looks to be what CMD call a virtual read, where they decrypt the FRF and obfuscate the code areas (containing their code changes) and leave the calibration area open for editing.
