Let's just clarify this. You have a standard file. That file contains pages, like a book. You open the book in TunerPro or WinOLS but the software has no idea what is stored on each page. In order to get it to display data on a page, you have to give it a contents page. YOU define this; this is your XDF. You now add launch control/al with the script which injects the code in. The script will tell you where the variables are stored; now just update your XDF with these variables. This should ONLY be added if you know what you're doing, your car is tuned to a suitable level and you actually need it.
Adding it at the first stage and not spending time on tuning is NOT acceptable.
