Title: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on January 31, 2016, 02:22:42 PM Hello again there..I m in the process of making a "hybrid" backup ecu for trial and error purposes but got something strange.
-Read the Flash AND Eeprom via bootmode ok -Vag com detects ecu on the bench -Write Eeprom AND flash via bootmode ok -->Vag com doesnt detect ecu,mpps-galleto ONLY detect it if bootmode -Car doesnt start/vag com via obd detect nothing. The ecu is 8E0909518AQ and the files i load are 06A906032QN. I ve loaded many eeproms AND flash (immo off, ori, tuned) with no luck I dont know if uploading any files would help (oris tried also) but i cant think of what i m missing. Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on January 31, 2016, 02:26:39 PM Why? Why not use the 18AQ file?
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on January 31, 2016, 02:31:48 PM If i tell u i didnt even think to do that...?? I could just immo off that ecu right??.. The thing is NOW what can i do?? I just can write and read files at bootmode. But why the dont power up the car or even be reachable via obd??
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on January 31, 2016, 02:34:00 PM What ECU belongs in the car, and what ECU have you bought as a replacement?
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on January 31, 2016, 02:37:20 PM 06A906032QN is cars ecu and the files i load. And the spare ecu i experiment is 8E0909518AQ.
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on January 31, 2016, 02:56:11 PM I have no idea why you've bought a transverse Audi ECU for a Cupra. Are you sure the pinout is the same? Loom?
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on January 31, 2016, 04:58:46 PM Didnt bought it..Sourced from a friend for free.. I dont believe there are changes on the loom but aside from that vag com on the bench still doesnt recognise it. Although when i first got it everything was ok (aside the 15 DTC's because of bench testing..)
PS: It is from a longitudinal A4 and the 032QN is from an ibiza FR. I think cupras had an other revision,, Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: prj on February 01, 2016, 02:26:08 AM 8E is 40mhz, 06A is 32 mhz.
WTF are you doing? What you are trying to do will never ever work, the processor is different. Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on February 01, 2016, 02:27:47 AM Another learning session. That'll be why it's not working.
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on February 01, 2016, 11:10:03 AM 8E is 40mhz, 06A is 32 mhz. WTF are you doing? What you are trying to do will never ever work, the processor is different. Hmmm didnt even knew there were 7.5 with different processors.. Thank you very much prj. An 032HN/032MJ ecu should do the trick right?? Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on February 01, 2016, 01:16:22 PM Why not just buy the right one in the first place?
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: ddillenger on February 01, 2016, 05:35:53 PM 8E is 40mhz, 06A is 32 mhz. WTF are you doing? What you are trying to do will never ever work, the processor is different. Not ALL 8E. That one though. Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on February 04, 2016, 05:11:30 PM @Adam-- because i dont NEED it i just had it for free to play..
@ddillenger Is there any way to distinguish wich ecu/cpu is compatible? 06a906032## logically should do the work right? PS: What the @!$ is ESKONF?!? I ve found no explanation..Only thing i understood is its about dtc's. I m trying to delete rear o2 and i d like to know if i should search a lil more about that. You haven't found ANY documentation about ESKONF (http://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning#ESKONF) or disabling rear o2s (http://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning#Rear_O2_Sensors)? Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on February 05, 2016, 03:47:14 AM Nyet, have you got any links for ESKONF?
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: ddillenger on February 05, 2016, 04:16:54 AM Nyet, have you got any links for ESKONF? Serious? lol Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: adam- on February 05, 2016, 05:36:45 AM Nah, I'm on the windup. :P
Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: nyet on February 05, 2016, 12:40:08 PM Nyet, have you got any links for ESKONF? NO BUT DAZ DOES :) He's a better me than I ever was or will be! Title: Re: Hybrid ecu Post by: Rl on February 08, 2016, 12:47:02 PM For sure not intended to be a prick just didnt noticed!!About o2 i ve read them i just didnt knew about the eskonf think..Hope to return with results after i finish some repairs also.. Thanks for the pointers!
