Title: Cannot connect to ECU via Vagcom/nefmoto, can however connect in boot mode?? Post by: infinkc on September 12, 2011, 09:57:50 AM Anyone know what is going on? Bench flashing/testing. Cannot connect with vagcom or nefmoto. In boot mode with galleto it will read and flash a bin fine.

Boot mode uses the communication systems built into the ROM of the processor.
If you cannot connect with Vag-Com or NefMoto, but can connect with boot mode, then likely the ECU code in the flash memory chip is corrupt and preventing the ECU from booting properly.
