Title: Man... I'm lost big time Post by: Mishu101 on March 07, 2016, 04:32:08 PM So recently I started to look for alternative methods than spending $$$ of unitronic flash for my 4.2 C6. They asking arm and leg for such small gains. So I discovered this forum. I would consider myself a tech savvy person. I did some SKC retrieval, instrument swaps, etc etc but the more I read here, the more confused I get. Don't know even where to start, dump ecu file and then what? (It's not like a simple long coding in vag). Anyway it is a challenge and I will try to not give up. Anyway 4.2 is not turbo engine so would it be even possible to boost the performance like unitronic offer? If anyone decide to point me in right direction that would be nice, if not than I'll keep struggling (not its a bad thing, knowledge is always on good side)
