Title: Seat Leon 1M 1.8 20VT 180HP AUQ (06A906032HN) Remap
Post by: KasperH on August 26, 2016, 11:08:40 AM
I started mapping a stock ECU dump because when i got  my car, it was poorly mapped to 213 HP and 311 NM @ 1.5 Bar.
with a lambda 0.6 at 6500 RPM @WOT.
way to rich and too much boost for my liking.
i want to make a decent map for everyday driving but with a little extra when my right foot feels heavy ;)

Feel free to call it shit if it is, because i want to learn from this.

for mods done to the car:
3" Downpipe with cat delete
2.5" Milltek with resonator
Uprated sidemount intercooler
All silicone boost hoses (got a silicone TIP, but havent gotten around to installing it yet)

im coming to this community for help and constructive criticism,
because i have read a lot of post and feel that it is filled with very talented people who know a lot about this.

It actually doesn't really belong here either. This is an area to discuss tuning itself, not your binary.

If you want feedback on your binary, post a log and put it in "rate my log"

So I should log a couple of WOT pulls and post them? :)

Do a few third gear wot pulls. I dont know which variables to log exactly so youll have to do a lil bit of research there..

lambda,
boost,
engine speed,
engine load,
ignition angle,
intake temp,
intake air mass
should that be enough? :)

another thing is i read into an old archived topic about enabling fuel control by knock detection via KFLBTS instead of fuel control on LAMFA, and was wondering if it was doable?

Also, why even fuel by knock?

I looked in to the bin, and saw it was already enabled :)

Also, why even fuel by knock?

To get the most out of the tune I guess? :)

Lambts is based on the exhaust gas temperature model, not on knocking.

I know that lambts is triggered by tabgbts, and I've also corrected those two.
But am I the only one who thinks that tabgbts trigger is low at 400℃?

It is, but it doesn't matter as FBSTABGM is 0 until 9XX°C or near (in HN)

Following the diagram, if the output of that map is 0, Lambts output will be 1, then specified lambda will follow LAMFAW

So LAMBTS isn't triggered until FBSTABGM is 1 and that won't happen until the calculated EGT is above 900℃?

Stop asking questions that take 30 seconds to look up and RTFM.
If you do not learn to read these diagrams you will not learn to tune this.

The LAMBTS module, specifically LAMBTSENABLE has info on when the module is active.
Your FBSTABGM question is answered by the diagram above.

Wooah, excuse me for trying to learn.
I know how to read diagrams, I downloaded the fuktionsrammen a while back, but I lost it and can't find it again.
