My wire harnesses are made with extreme care and precaution. Close attention to detail is paramount through out my workflow and I am confident that it shows in the images shown below.

**I do all of the work by hand.
**The ECU connector for your specific ECU along with the OBD2 connector port are sourced from 1 of 4 local stink n pull self serve automotive parts locations near me.
**I am a perfectionist and to maintain a precise level of attention to detail and aesthetics of the harness, I carefully search for connectors that are in as close to perfect condition as possible.
**All of the wires for any of the live lines for the harness are replaced with fresh brand new 18awg wire. Quality copper wire too, not cheap crap.
**With extreme attention to detail and to ensure the harness can withstand years of use and abuse, I solder all of the connection points carefully using bernzomatic rosin core electronic solder.
**All wire to wire connection points are protected by heatshrink tubing after being soldered for added protection and to deter the possibility of the harness creating a short or fire.
**Each harness is crafted using the same overall design concept as the images shown below.

Your more than welcome to try your hand at making a boot-mode harness yourself using the above link as your guide.
I offer this service/product for individuals who wouldn't identify as "crafty" or "diy'er"
And even if you are a DIY'er, maybe you need to enter boot-mode a lot and you want something with a more professional and presentable look and feel to it.

You need separate power lines for ignition and supply pin. I only see one power cable on your pictures.

I can always make a quick trip up to the parts yard whenever someone inquires about a harness so yeah, I dont see why I wouldn't be able to offer this service long term.

Well the two harnesses shown above are for ME7.5 ECUs and for those harnesses its only necessary to add one additional lead so you can ground pin 24.
As soon as I receive an inquiry for a harness I'd imagine that the individual contacting me will likely disclose the type of ECU they are seeking a harness for.
At that point I begin searching the internet for a pinout as well as any information I can find regarding the procedures involved for entering boot-mode and that would provide me with the details necessary to determine what connectors, leads, type of resistor and any other relative info in order to create a harness that will allow the user to efficiently and safely (as safe as I can possibly offer, I'm going to add a disclaimer too) enter boot-mode or connect to his or her ECU outside of the vehicle.

Long story short no matter the ECU type, I won't commit to a transaction with anyone that contacts me, without first gathering enough details and information regarding the individuals particular ECU to determine what specifications to produce the harness with. If I cant ensure the harness will operate properly as intended then I'm not going to continue with a transaction.

paid this person for a harness on 14/2/17. promised shipping date was 15/2/17. have since emailed this person multiple times requesting tracking and have heard nothing but excuses. was promised posting day after day with no tracking # ever provided. always "tomorrow".

was even charged $10 extra ($60usd total) for "express".

filed chargedback with credit card company as of this AM.

Well that's unfortunate.  OP should 'splain himself.

it is very unfortunate as i explained the most important piece of this transaction was the necessity of asap. hence, i assume, the $10 extra added charge. things happen, i understand. i am currently in a position of having to explain to my customers why i cannot get their items flashed and posted to them because i (really the person doing the flashing for me currently in usa) am lacking the required hardware (this harness).

on saturday i was told "i am waiting for post office to open."
on sunday i believe it was, i was told "the harness was damaged and i had to remake it" (long/short version).
on monday i was told the only reason it has not shipped yet is because it is presidents day in usa.
today is thursday and i have no tracking/reply since then.

What sort of harness did you buy from him?   Surely you already have a ME7 bench harness, yah?

i have a harness for almost everything for myself. :) but i paid for an aeb harness. sent the pinout, explained how i needed configured, explained that it was time sensitive, etc all before making payment.

update: 23/2/17, no harness received.

update: as of 25/2/17, i have received a tracking number, with the slowest delivery carrier possible.

I sent the harness as quickly as I possibly could and didn't have a chance to take a picture of it. I am very proud of my work though and how it turned out. Whenever you get a chance, could you please post a pic or two of it? I would really appreciate it Ian!

i said do not make complicated. make simple. simple = faster. i care nothing about some sleeving on some wires. does not make harness function any better or worse.
you stated you did not have the money to pay postage. should have told me. i told you asap was the most important piece to the puzzle. would have paid more for overnight delivery.
you likely paid more than a flat rate envelope for shit fedex postage which takes longer. friday posting would have arrived yesterday. harness is not scheduled for delivery until tomorrow.

you literally ignored every single instruction or item of importance to me.

i do not care about $. a (partial) refund is pointless and does not fix anything.

The total I charge for a harness has the cost of shipping factored into it. I did in fact ponder the idea of asking you for help paying the postage, but when I put myself in your shoes and considered what I would think if I had asked me for more money on top of what you had already paid, and we've never met before... If it were me I'd have thought I was getting ripped off and you were just trying to get more money out of me...

I got the best shipping I could afford. It was late when I finally put together enough funds to get the harness shipped and fedex/kinkos was the only place open at that hour (10:20pm pacific). It was friday, they wanted like $80 for next day delivery, $40 for monday... etc. I could only afford the option I went with. The payment processing service I use was supposed to deposit your payment in my account within 2 days. For some reason it was delayed and withheld from deposit for a total of 9 days... I am now back to using stripe as my payment processor. Wave used to allow you to create custom invoices and then a client could pay the invoice via a "pay now" button embedded in the invoice. that pay now button would then allow the client to pay the invoice via stripe. I didn't realize that when I sent you the invoice, wave had dumped stripe and begun processing payments independently, so as of yesterday, I was told the 9 days was due to difficulty verifying my identity with waves new "processing dept"... regardless I was very displeased and I have setup a new invoicing account powered by stripe. Like how it used to be when things worked smoothly for me...


My apology is for you, specifically for you. I didn't make a promise to anyone else but you. That promise was embedded within my "express processing guarantee". Therefore, since I wasn't able to follow through on that promise I thought refunding the cost for that option with an extra $5 to extend my sincerity would be the right thing to do.

All things considered, I'm truly disappointed you aren't able to accept my apology.

No, I never lied to you. More than a week had gone by and your payment was still pending.. The instant I got enough money together to ship your harness I drove directly to the nearest delivery service that was open at that hour and I asked the employee there for the best shipping option I could get with the only money I had. regardless of my gas light being on too... I made getting your harness shipped out a higher priority than even ensuring I could make it home that night.. But all of that aside, yes, genuinely I am disappointed you aren't able to accept my apology because its sincere.. Forget the fact that I'm sitting here with a negative $75 dent in my checking account from the charge back you made on your card.. And forget the fact that I extended my apology to you by sending $10 dollars via google wallet, to refund the express processing charge that I was unable to keep my promise on due to wave taking over a week to process your payment... and I even added an extra $5 ontop of the ten.. So I sent you $15 total, which I know isn't much. But that is all the money I had to my name at the time once again, and rather than do something else with it I thought you might see that I am truly sincerely sorry for the delay and the inconvenience it caused you.. Your harness was delivered on the 1st... All things considered, I hope you like it and I hope it functions properly. I tried very hard when selecting the best mounting location of the switch you requested be integrated into one of the wires/pins (forgot exactly which one).. You'll see I provided you with alligator clips on your negative and positive leads. I bought the nice $3.75 ones, not the cheap dollar clips. Anyways.. My apology still stands. If your funds had processed when they were supposed to, none of this would've happened.

Matt, the individual who purchased the harness expressed how pleased he was with the work I did on the harness via email the same day he received it from USPS. I too am really happy with how it turned out!

Actually that sadly doesn't have any of the really good stuff in it.. I have another box, same size as that one in the picture that is almost full of ONLY me7 harness connectors and OBD2 diagnostic port connectors.. I have atleast enough supplies to build 8 whole boot-mode harnesses whenever anyone needs one. I am updating the OP with fresh up-to-date contact info and details etc.. So refer to the OP once again for all the necessary details to get a hold of me.

I'm going out now to pick up some 1k ohm resistors from a car audio shop a little drive away then I will be set!

Just got another batch of connectors and OBD2 port connectors + new colors of sleeve. I now have the following colors for the + - and ground leads: light blue sun yellow neon green orange crimson red barbie pink Tan + can order any color you desire (amazon prime + the paracord is available with 1 day pick up at my local amazon pickup location so all I would charge is an extra $5 and of course I wouldn't need any extra time to finish and ship the harness)

I still have all the little parts for these lying around.. if you @boy412 or anyone else still wants one please let me know and I'd be happy to sell you one. @gman86, if you send me the connector for MED9 or MED17 along with a pinout I can make you one for sure. Its just not easy to acquire the connectors for the MED9 or 17 ECU compared to the ME7 connectors because our parts yard in our area doesnt really stock any cars newer than roughly 2004 rarely is there anything from the year 2005 at our yard.. they are called pick n pull by the way.

I decided to start making and selling these again! The reason I quit selling them was because the original price of $50 didn’t really add up to much profit to make it worthwhile.. with the time involved in traveling to source the connectors, the cost the the connectors themselves.. the time and labor involved in creating them.. it just wasn’t enough. I think $90 is a fair price and I hope you all agree. The quality of the harness is something you will surely find yourself using again and again for years more than likely and it’s presentable and professional looking. Will update OP to announce this as well.
