Hi got a golf iv ecu , and need to do immo off ! please help !

You need to post some more info for anyone to even consider helping you.

LOlll it is a mkiv golf magneti marrelli Iaw4cv.va with eeprom 950401. Unfortunately Forum dont allow me to upload bin file.

All you need to do its floor it while cranking. Do that like 50 times and it still wont ve immo offed lol

what tool (s) do you have? a VAG KKL409.1 with original FT232RL CHIP cable is something you should own (a reprogrammable version of the cable) this will allow you to change the serial number and use with Galetto 1260,   

use argdubs tool read EEPROM, upload here and anyone will help you.

all that you have to do is the changes in the picture to your ecus small file (EEPROM), then run a checksum correction on it 80540 tool also on forum.

BUt I dont think only emulator can do that.  And what about getting the skc code for the bin file. Not pin code but 7 digit skc code so that I can code the ecu.

post the file you where sent, maybe users here can help i it seems to be a 90540 eprom im not sure about what your saying, but what method are you using to write the file?

the ecu the op is working on is a magnetic marrelli ecu not a bosch ecu. not all vag eeproms are the same specially when they are not from the same manufacture. About 5 seconds on google would have solved this whole thread. hi!!! It's all made by humain...Hope that someone develop an immo off for magnetic marrelli ! because , emulator are good , by unavailable in some countries !! Like mine Mauritius island ,and very long to wait !!but thanks for all for reply !!
The solution was to code the key to the cluster , immo light flash , by car start !

See if this tool will read your cluster, im not sure it will but if it does, there must be a immo off trick in the cluster, if it reads post the file, there is a lot of immo experts on http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/, i suggest you try there maybe, but good to hear you got it sorted with key pairing
