I just bought a 2005 W12 that has been sitting for 3yrs. no key to the car so I ordered TMPRO2 with Module 155 software so I could program a new transponder (PCF7936). I removed the Kessy module, de-soldered the 93C86 chip and put on the TMPRO2 eeprom adapter. Loaded up the software file, PIN code popped up on the screen, programmed a new transponder and saved the dump for future reference. Anyhow, the PIN code I received is a 5 digit code, this can't be correct, right? Need help finding the correct 4 digit PIN code so I can adapt the new transponder to the kessy with VCDS. Im locked out for 250 minutes now so I have time to search the forums for guidance. Any information would be appreciated.

PIN code a 5 digit is OK.

TMPRO gave me a PIN code of 53754 but I can't log in with VCDS to adapt the key. I know of Immo 3 the code typically retrieved was 4 digits and you added a 0 to the beginning. I'm just checking to see if someone else may be able to pull a different pin. I have zero's on all of the lock out boxes so I attempted to try again and none of my timers changed so I removed the kessy module to check the chip. need to make sure it is connected properly.

problem solved!!! I thought that I re-wrote to the eeprom after programming the transponder but I didn't.. dumbass mistake on my part. took the chip out this morning and read the dump, compared to the original dump and nothing was different. wrote the new file to the eeprom and adapted keys.
