Title: 5120 / SD
Post by: prj on March 28, 2018, 12:54:59 PM
For sale:
Tested 5120 / SD files:
1.8T B5 - 8N0906018J
1.8T B6 - 8E0909518AL
2.7TT B5 - 8D0907551K
3.2 VR6 Mk4 - 022906032CN

And pretty much any other ME7 file for these modifications, but then it's minimum a day lead time to make it.
Prices start at 500 EUR depending on options chosen.

If you are turboing NA ME7, I have made a custom boost controller that can be integrated into the standard ECU outputting to the intake manifold changeover valve output (which can drive a N75).
Can work with MAF (ME3.8.3 style) or MAP signal without torque control issues.

Map switching based on rear o2 signal or pedals and adjustable launch control via pedals is also an option (incl. knock disable and antilag).

Does the k file come with a full k map pack and me7 .ecu file for scaled pressure vars? Definitely interested.

Also, an opinions on the publicly available 551M? I'd be curious to know if you think we missed anything

Would be personally willing to pay consultation fee if that is what is needed.

TIA

I don't have hex/a2l for 551K, but I have a very extensive xdf that I use myself to tune.
.ecu and log template of course included with scaled vars for any 5120 files.

551M I have not looked per se, but all the publicly available stuff had some bugs I think.
Right now I tune 2-3 cars a month on the 5120 551K file and they all work fine.

I really don't see the point of using 551M to be honest. But if you want to pay me to make a 5120 or SD patch for it, I'll do it.

same but for the K file I created, I'm using it on my s4 and on 2 rs4 of friends and all working fine

it would be nice to know if something  was missing/wrong

Guys, it's a for sale topic. Stick to the topic.
I am not going to look over anyone's files, I have no interest in that.

If you want to, you can buy my sw and compare. But if it's exactly the same as yours, then well it's your loss :)

Can you explain a little further what kind of hardware changes need to be made and how tuning would be done after converted to SD? I am willing to pay for this but I'd just like to understand it a bit better before spending the $600+ USD.

I know a second map sensor would need to be installed post TB. Which sensor?
The second map sensor gets wired to the existing MAF input? Or other?

Thank you for posting this PRJ. I was actually considering messaging you about this the other day.

2nd MAP sensor is installed into the manifold and wired into the MAF harness. On the 2.7TT a good place to put it is the EVAP tap, if you're not using EVAP. If you are, you could get rid of the IAT and put it there for example (the MAP sensors have IAT built in anyway).
There is DSMGRAD and DSMOFS, just the same as there's DSLGRAD and DSLOFS.

VE tuning is done through KFURL, KFPRG, KFPBRK, KFPBRKNW.
Probably good to have an emulator the first time, as you are going to struggle a bit initially to get the VE tuned right if the engine is highly modified.

Do you offer it for MED9.1 (8P0907115H) too?

No, I probably don't plan to sell any MED9/MED17 stuff through this forum.

Hi prj,

i would like to buy a file for the BAM CB which can use the rear O2 signal to switch the maps.

LC, AL and 5120 would be nice but not really needed.

The file should be able to switch the following maps

LDRXN
KRKTE
TVUB
FKKVS (would be nice)
TEMIN (would be nice)
KFFWL (would be nice)
LAMFA
TABGBTS (to switch off enrichment during LPG)
KFZW
KFZW2

Is that possible?
