Post by: littco on February 02, 2012, 03:12:19 AM
If you're interested in upgrading a turbo, whether it be a good working order one or knackered used one I can offer a complete rebuild and hybrid service, All machining, porting, rebuild and balance work is carried on the turbos. I can make a hybrid to suit you and at a sensible price.

An example of my work.

potential with supporting Mods 340Bhp

Seems like the RS6 2283 wheel is the same as the Mazdaspeed 2283 wheel? At least, it looks just like it to me.

Im pretty sure it is the same wheel. It's also in the Vauxhall VRX as well

I can offer pretty much any hybrid combination you desire. You are only limited by how much the housings can be machined to accept the larger wheels.

how does this example vary from say a Franken Turbo F23 ?

Main difference is that this has billet 2283 compressor where as the f23 doesn't . Also the f23 has a larger wategate and is ceramic coated.

I can vouch for this guys hybrid turbos,  280bhp 280lbft from one of his K03/K04 setups.   Made the power really easy and flowed really well.   Unlike the CR hybrid I  tuning which I have to ring there necks just to get to 270bhp on a large port head 1.8T.

I have tuned my second turbo from Dan now, K03-Hybird Seat Leon 1.8T AUQ 312bhp and still more to come once I can monitor EGTS.

Non of the big name Uk turbo builders can get anywhere near... lol

So yeah, I was right!  Did some research, Dan at BBT, and Nick at R-tech!

Been reading through Nick's posts trying to get some aid in how to start tuning, looks like I was along the right lines!  Gonna mock up a solid base map today and start playing.  Need to fix my boost leak, get coils and plugs etc and get going!

any updates with the ball bearing conversions?  What can be done with a pair of stock 2.7T turbos from a 2002 allroad?  How much for what kind of hp increase?
