Title: Powertrain and Comfort Canbus
Post by: imolasb5 on October 04, 2019, 05:16:55 PM
Hey guys I have been sifting through the CAN ID's for a few weeks and need some help. I am running Maxxecu and am trying to figure out how to request idle increase when A/C compressor is on. I don't seem to see some of the ID's on the powertrain canbus that the FR says includes the compressor status. Maybe it is on the comfort bus?

I can wire a relay for the A/C coil to a free input on maxxecu, but was interested if it would be possible using can. Thanks!

5E0 is what doesn't appear to exist.

Need more information about network of your base car.

- witch car ?
- witch climatisation you are using ?
- witch generation of CAN-bus ?

ComfortCAN is not awaibile on old audi TT PQ34 e.g., so there is not gateway and no gateway function to AntriebsCAN.
Compressor is completaly controled by climatronic and status as well as idle increase request is hardwired to ECU.

Wow that was really dumb on my part. Only answer I have is 2002 Audi S4.

I didn't see a climate control input on the me7 pinout, but maybe it's a general idle increase name that I didnt consider.

Ok, MY2002 should have "some" CAN-buses, even AntriebsCAN and KomfortCAN.

So normaly, you should find 0x5E0 (mClima_1) on AntriebsCAN..

Did you check, if the base for gatewaying the mClima_1 to AntriebsCAN is awailible ?
Look on KomfortCAN for 0x3E1 or 0x3E2 (donĀ“t remember right for Audi A4 KomfortCAN ..)
