Title: Verification of immo key challenge through CAN (MED9.1 platform) Post by: Reverant on February 07, 2020, 10:32:24 AM Hi everyone, I'm developing a hardware board that reads the CAN messages from the MED9.1 ECU to the cluster, and verify that the challenge message sent by the ECU has been replied to properly by the cluster (think of it as a second, non-programmable immobilizer).
The issue is obviously which crypto algorithm is used to create the response and which key. I need both to know if the response from the cluster. Does anyone have any info on this? I think the algorithm is the same on all MED9.1 ECUs, regardless of whether it's a VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda. Thank you! |
