Title: I think I found good company here. :)
Post by: timo_auq on February 14, 2020, 06:41:10 PM
Hallo everyone,

my name is Timo (24) from northern Germany. I stumbled upon this board a few times, but now I finally took the step of registration.
I studied Motorsport Engineering for 3 semesters, interesting in all ways but the pure theory as daily routine was killing me. Thats why I started an apprenticeship in a wheel workshop / online shop for new and used Porsche wheels 13 months ago.
My car is a 2002 Golf 1.8t with the AUQ engine and 6spd manual. I've loved and hated it for the last 60k km/3 years, but I've learned alot, and thats why I still want to keep it.
Currently my drivers license is suspended, for a few speeding reasons. Thanks to my boss I can store parts and work on my car there in my free time. Currently I'm rebuilding an engine, for k04 use. The hardware stuff is mostly clear. I'm planning to be back in the seat this summer hopefully. But I want to get in touch with the software site, to be independend with my mapping. I don't have any clear plans for the software now. I have to understand the basics first.

So don't mind me asking questions about your topics from time to time, I'm a really curious guy. :)
