Title: 2001 a4 1.8T - ecu pin out and engine wiring diagram
Post by: vtraudt on January 22, 2021, 10:40:43 AM
Car is a mess when it arrived, now cleaning up (delete/remove).
No N75 and now wires. Found (I think) wires.
But no +5V (IIRC, N75 has +5V and ECU switches to ground?)

Want to rewire the N75.

Can someone post pinout for the ECU (to find N75 signal wire)?
Can someone post wiring diagram for engine (to find +5V to tap into; I think it is shared with the 2 connectors under the intake manifold).
Also need to wire in a new connector. What pin is getting +5V, which pin gets ECU signal?

This is for AWT engine but basic pinout is the same for all of them.

Thank you! Very helpful.

Found:
N75 plug has supply voltage on Pin 1 (will check which pin is 1), shared power on green/yellow wire with N80, N112 and N249.
ECU signal (diagram shows yellow/white; will check what color mine is) on pin 2, going to ECU harness pin 104 (N80 is 65, N112 is 9, N249 is 105).

What should I measure on the ECU wire with just key on, and with N75 activated running vagcom output test?
