Title: A3 3.2 ME7.1.1 tuning attempt
Post by: Maze10 on January 31, 2021, 06:20:26 PM
Hi everybody,

i just finished my first attempt to modify a few maps (LAMFA, KFZW, KFZW2, max speed limiters and KFPED) in my original .bin using winOLS 2.24.

Can someone here tell me if my new values are correct ? And mostly if new checksums are correct.
I understood that if new checksums are not correct, the car won't start. Mine were corrected by winOLS. I also used me7sum and it tells me :

                 *** Found 70 checksums in mod032CB.bin
                 *** Done! 0/0 error(s) in mod032CB.bin corrected in OUT.bin ***

Is it all right to flash it into the ECU ?
The original .bin, the damos, and the modified .bin are in attachment.

Thanks in advance guys.

Waste of time without a dyno.
And waste of time WITH a dyno too.

Depending on revision and location globally they are different. Some are more aggressive then others. You can change the maps to support more of an RS4 throttle feel or smooth like a real cable throttle.  B6S4 has a bunch of different layouts, favorite one is the earliest release i could find in EU.

Literally the only reason to touch this ECU is to learn the basics. Getting HP? LOLLOLOLOLOL
